Data Science Specialization - Coursera
Data Science Specialization from Coursera, developed in collaboration with John Hopkins University, is a ten-course program that teaches you the fundamentals of the data science pipeline. Although anyone can enroll in this course, students should have some prior Python experience and knowledge of regression.
Videos and additional readings are also used to teach the curriculum. Auto-graded practice quizzes and peer-graded assignments are used to assess student knowledge. The program concludes with a practical project that allows students to create a useful data product. According to Coursera, most students can complete the program in about 11 months if they study for 7 hours per week. Because Coursera charges a monthly fee, completing the specialization as quickly as possible is a strong incentive. Students can also opt to view course content for free, but they will miss out on the capstone project and course certification as a result. There is a 7-day free trial if you are not sure if this course is right for you. Students who cannot afford the course fee can apply for financial aid through Coursera.
