Datanla Waterfall

About 5 kilometers south of Da Lat's downtown, in the middle of Prenn Pass, is a waterfall known as Datanla Waterfall. Here, you'll be gifted with untamed nature and ride an alpine coaster. Along with flowers in this pine woodland. The Datanla Waterfall is a tiny waterfall that cascades from a rocky cliff about 20 meters above ground level into a large pool, providing a beautiful and romantic sight.

The K'ho natives who currently inhabit this area claim that fights between the native K'ho population and Cham invaders from Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan frequently broke out here in the past. When the fighting was fierce, the K "ho troops were on the verge of losing the battle, but thanks to the depths beneath the waterfall Datanla, they were protected and helped to maintain their strength. They hid at the waterfall, leading to the discovery by a few that beneath the deep pool there is a sizable stream that runs year-round. The creek and waterfall were given names by the K'Ho. The name Datanla, which translates as "water beneath the leaf," honors a stream that protected their community from invaders.

There are three stories to the waterfall; visitors may either walk down them or ride a roller coaster to get there. Additionally, this location serves as a playground for a variety of adventure games, including canyoning, kayaking, and high ropes. Although Datanla is neither the largest nor most stunning waterfall in Vietnam, it is unique. In actuality, a prehistoric dialect's translation of the word Datanla is "water under the leaves". Datanla remains a charming small natural jewel "hidden" in the forest even today.
