David Beckham

David Robert Joseph Beckham OBE (born May 2, 1975) is an English footballer who has represented Manchester United, Real Madrid, AC Milan, the United States Soccer League, and Paris Saint-Germain. He has his own clothing line and is one of the most well-known sportsmen outside of football.

Beckham is England's second-most-capped player of all time and he is in the list of richest sportsmen in the world. In addition, he is the only Englishman to score in three World Cups. Beckham has finished second in the FIFA World Player of the Year award on two occasions. From November 15, 2000, to July 2, 2006, he was the captain of the England national team. Despite hanging up his boots five years ago, the former Manchester United player and England captain still earns more than the top Premier League earnings. David Beckham has always been a marketable player who has contributed much outside of football to his success. He's dabbled with fashion, food and drink, television, entertainment, and more, and he's reaping the benefits.

Beckham and his business partners created a Miami MLS franchise in January 2018, which is anticipated to join the North American league as an expansion team in 2020. When Beckham joined the LA Galaxy in 2007, he was given the option to acquire a franchise team as part of his deal with MLS, which he executed in 2014.
