Daylight – MIT OpenCourseWare Program

This course explores how natural and electrical lighting integrates occupant comfort, energy efficiency, and the availability of daylight in architecture. Students are required to evaluate daylight in real and simulated spaces, as well as take high dynamic range photography and build physical models.


Lecture notes are provided for each individual topic, along with guided exercises, and finally complete lighting for a model building.
