Doom at Your Service (2021)

Doom at Your Service is a 2021 South Korean television series starring Park Bo-young and Seo In-guk. It aired on tvN from May 10 to June 29, 2021. Kang Tae-oh plays Lee Hyun-kyu, Joo-ik's roommate who is a café owner. Tak Dong-kyung (Park Bo-young), an editor for an online book firm, leads a very routine existence until she encounters an unexpected fate. All in one day, she learns she has glioblastoma and has just three months to live, discovers her lover is a father-to-be with a wife, is admonished at work, and is spied on by a pervert before the pervert falls into a sinkhole.

While drinking her sorrows away, she sees a shooting star from her rooftop apartment and drunkenly wishes for the end of the world. Myul Mang (Seo In-guk), a messenger between gods and humans, hears her request. He was born between the light and the dark: when he breathes, countries vanish; when he walks, seasons collapse; and when he smiles, life is extinguished. All he needs to do is exist for something to go wrong. This is not his intention; rather, it is his fate. On his birthday, he gets to fulfill a human's request. Sick of his predicament, he decides to carry out Dong-kyung's wish and end the world. Dong-kyung ends up signing a hundred-day contract with Myul Mang, risking everything she has ever known.
