It warms up your body in less than 30 seconds when placed near where you sit. Compared to other space heaters, this heater uses an average amount of energy.
You can configure the heater to turn off automatically up to 12 hours later using a timer. A remote is included with the item to control it from across the room. This heater's outer surfaces won't burn you, and at 51.7 decibels, it's approximately as loud as a running dishwasher, which is about average for a space heater. You'll need to remove the filter and vacuum it once a month, as well as wash out the water tank.
