Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) is a world-class neurosurgeon with a remarkable memory. However, a car accident left his hands severely injured and unable to continue his work of healing people. After months of depression and unsuccessful treatment, Strange was referred to Kamar-Taj, a mysterious secret chamber in Nepal. Here, The Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) enlightens him to an infinite magical multiverse, far beyond all human comprehension. The determination to cure the hands makes the "former doctor" study and practice day and night. The main character is someone from a genius but arrogant doctor, Strange turns into a broken wanderer looking for a way to fix his hands and finally a superhero who accepts to sacrifice himself to save the world.
