Duolingo is an excellent choice for starting your language-learning journey. It stands out as one of the top language-learning apps available. To begin, you select your target language and your proficiency level. Next, you set your daily learning goal and decide whether to commence from the basics or take a placement test to evaluate your language skills. Each lesson in Duolingo is composed of multiple modules.
As you complete modules, they turn gold, while the sections you've just started are displayed in color with a progress bar below them. Each module contains a variety of exercises, such as questions with images, translation tasks, listening and writing exercises, and multiple-choice questions.
