Durock
DUROCK is a Chinese manufacturer that specializes in producing mechanical keyboard switches, stabilizers, and other keyboard-related components. The company is known for its high-quality products and has gained recognition among keyboard enthusiasts worldwide.
DUROCK offers a range of mechanical keyboard switches that cater to different preferences and typing styles. They produce both tactile and linear switches, as well as switches with varying forces of actuation and characteristics. Some popular DUROCK switch variants include DUROCK T1, DUROCK Koala, and DUROCK Linear switches. These switches are well-regarded for their smooth keystrokes, consistent performance, and durability.
The Silent Shrimp T1 Tactile Switch is an outstanding product line of Durock. The Silent Shrimp is a nearly noiseless version of the company's well-known T1 series. It has a proprietary "silent stem" and a detachable silicon "silent circle" around its base to reduce noise and impact. It has a P-shaped tactile bump similar to its T1 predecessors in tactility, albeit the dampener causes the total trip to be shorter (3.8 millimeters).
It will take more effort—67 grams—to bottom it out, but that is to be anticipated from a switch nearly precisely the same weight as the original T1. Because the housings of this seafaring switch have a striking ocean-blue color that would make any silent shrimp feel at home, you should probably install it on a board with a floating key design.
