Dwayne Johnson full name Dwayne Douglas Johnson, also known by his stage name The Rock (born May 2, 1972) is an American retired professional wrestler, actor, and producer. When the 1995 season began, he began training for a professional wrestling career, following in the footsteps of many family members, including his maternal grandfather Peter Maivia and his father, Rocky Johnson.

Johnson's breakthrough performance came in the 2002 film Scorpion King. He was paid $5.5 million for this part, setting a new record for an actor's first main role.
