Ekasup Village
Ekasup Village is only 10 minutes from Port Vila and is located in the Erakor Rain Forest. You will be greeted by the Chief at the village entrance, who will be dressed in traditional Erakor attire. It's an excellent introduction to the Melanesian people's culture and traditions, which have been passed down for years in Vanuatu.

Traditional-dressed Ekasup Villagers provide insight into the cultural system and ancient way of life. The catch of the day is crucial in this situation. Watch the women weave baskets, mats, and hats that are both gorgeous and functional. Learn about game trapping and how indigenous people get their catch back to their homes. Enjoy some music from the Futuna Island Youth Music Group's concert. You'll have the option to buy local items, and don't miss the chance to photograph the chief and his soldiers wielding clubs, spears, bows, and arrows. The locals were quite pleasant and nice.
