This intermediate-level course will help you strengthen your already excellent skills in writing in appropriate English, which is essential for journalism. Grammar skills, in addition to vocabulary, help to produce captivating stories. This online course was taught by instructors from the University of California, Berkeley, and it has been taken by over 50,000 students through edX.
It's a self-paced 5-week course that covers themes including journalistic vocabulary, language, communication, ethics, and fairness. Downloadable resources and a certificate of completion are included with the online course. edX offers college courses outside of the classroom for continuing education at any time and anywhere, as well as certificates and discussion forums for existing and new students.
