Enjoy orchestral performance Wallcasts and movies free at the New World Center
The symphony is typically a stuffy, elitist event in many places. It's just like going on a picnic on Miami Beach. The New World Symphony broadcasts live performances throughout the fall on the exterior wall of its Frank Gehry-designed structure. In Miami Beach, Florida's South Beach neighborhood, there is a performance venue called The New World Center. With a seating capacity of 756, it serves as the New World Symphony's home. January 2011 saw its debut. During the first week of concerts at the center, over a thousand individuals viewed the wallcasts.
The same cutting-edge technology is employed throughout the spring to show both current blockbusters and timeless favorites. Every Wednesday at 8 p.m., the 7,000 square foot projection wall in the open space next to Miami Beach's glittering New World Center plays host to the Soundscape Cinema Series. There is no admission fee, and the varied program includes works from many eras and genres. This is one of Miami Hacks To Make Your Life Easier. In April and May, respectively, look for Oscar winner The Theory of Everything and The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.
