Get free admission to museums
You can borrow museum passes from the library in addition to books. A family of four can visit History Miami, the Miami Children's Museum, the Miami Science Museum, the Pérez Art Museum Miami, the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens, the Deering Estate at Cutler, and Fruit & Spice Park for free with one of the few passes available each week at each location. They are valid for one week following checkout and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Bring nothing but your library card. This is one of Miami Hacks To Make Your Life Easier.
On specific days, many museums also grant free admission to locals. For instance, PAMM is currently free on the second Saturday of every month and is open on the first Thursday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Each Friday from 6 to 9 p.m., the Wolfsonian is free to enter. To locate comparable free days, visit the entrance and hours pages on the websites of each museum.
