Essentials of International Relations
Professor Emeritus Karen A. Mingst teaches at the University of Kentucky's Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a PhD in political science. Professor Mingst is an expert in international law, political economy, and international organizations. He has done research in Yugoslavia, West Africa, and Western Europe.
Associate professor of political science at the University of California, Davis, Heather Elko McKibben. After earning her PhD at the University of Pittsburgh in 2008 and working as a postdoctoral fellow at Princeton University's Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance for the academic year 2008–2009, she has been at Davis since 2009.
