Essroc Cement
Italcementi's subsidiary Essroc Cement is an Italian multinational cement producer and manufacturer with a headquarters in Bergamo, Italy. Last year, Essroc Cement was the world's sixth largest cement producer, producing 76.62 MT (million tonnes) of cement.
Essroc Cement claims to have a 77+ MT (million tonnes) cement manufacturing capacity spread throughout 60 cement plants in the United States. Essroc Cement is noted for its cement, ready-mix concrete, aggregates, and asphalt production. The firm is also regarded as one of the best concrete firms in the world.
Until it was acquired by Heidelberg in 2016, Essroc Cement was the world's fifth largest cement producer. Essroc cement was formerly known as Coplay cement, but after being acquired by Heidelberg, it was renamed Essroc cement. Essroc became a part of Lehigh Hanson. Essroc is currently employed by Lehigh's business lines.
