Ethical Leadership Through Giving Voice to Values
Giving Voice to Values (or GVV) is an exciting new approach to values-driven leadership development in the workplace, in business education, and in life, and this course provides an action-oriented introduction to it.
This Ethical Leadership Through Giving Voice to Values course was designed at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business and is taught by top-ranked instructors. You will leave GVV with a more comprehensive toolkit and practice in a number of ways and techniques for expressing and enacting your own beliefs and ideas. In "peer coaching" with other students, you will acquire and practice leadership abilities. You will apply the GVV strategies and "re-frames" through scenarios and tales based on recognized workplace, classroom, and life values conflicts, extending your repertoire for possible action as well as selecting and rehearsing responses that are likely to be most effective. You will gain increased confidence and expertise in effectively voicing and performing your values as a result of this practice.
