Examine the Timeline of the Obstacle
The second thing in the list ways to overcome your inner limitations is examine the timeline of the obstacle. How long have you been working on this problem? What habit or attitude is preventing you from solving the challenges? You'll be able to make the necessary changes if you can answer these questions. Embrace rather than avoid challenges, persist in finding meaning in them, and don’t give up on yourself. When you find you are criticizing yourself and negatively comparing yourself with others, try to find inspiration in their successes and strengths instead of feeling threatened.
If you moved jobs, for example, there could be anything tough about your new job or workplace. It's possible that you're having trouble adjusting to a new situation. Consider the various challenges you've faced during your life. Whether you work through them or not, learn from your mistakes and apply what you've learned to other situations.
Stop and make a list of the things you are grateful for in your life whenever you feel like giving up. You have a lot of reasons to be grateful in your life. Tasks that appear daunting take on a new light when you shift your emphasis to being appreciative for everything. The attitude with which you regard the situations around you determines how you look at them. You'll be amazed at how much of a difference it makes if you adopt a grateful mindset.
