Established in 2006 by Louis Papachristou and architect Hugh Zimmern, Faux Home is a Hong Kong-based brand that specializes in creating bespoke luxury rugs and homeware. Their passion lies in designing original art-based products by utilizing the finest materials nature has to offer and combining them with exceptional craftsmanship.

What sets Faux Home apart is their unique approach to sourcing and manufacturing. They directly obtain raw materials and carry out some production processes in various countries. Custom-designed rugs are meticulously hand-knotted in Nepal, Tibet, and India, using luxurious silk, wool, and organic materials such as bamboo, agave, cactus, hemp, and nettle. The super-soft chromium-tanned hide rugs are sourced from Brazil, while exotic wild game rugs come from Africa. Additionally, their eco-fur throws are ethically sourced from Peru and New Zealand.
