FinalStraw
Most environmentalists that we spoke with recommended FinalStraw's silicone-steel hybrid straws. They are foldable, which makes them very convenient to have on hand. Deborah Shepherd, an online content developer, specializing in ethical fashion, confesses that it took her some time to "get on the reusable-straw bandwagon." Still, she now falls in love totally with FinalStraw.
"These straws have everything: they fit on my vehicle keys (within its case), it's simple to clean (with hot water or a decent soap), and most significantly, the silicone is really pleasant to drink from," she explains. Isaias Hernandez, an ecological educator who practices zero-waste living, concurs, saying that, while the majority of metal straws are wrapped in plastic ("which negates the whole objective of sustainability"), FinalStraw is packaged without plastic.
They are available in silver hues. Maya Penn, a conservation specialist, eco-designer, TED lecturer, and writer, describes them as "neat-looking". These products come with a carrying bag in one of these color choices: violet, black, gray, teal, coral, or blue.
