Folkstone Marine Park & Beach

This small beach with typically clear water is ideal for a family vacation. Beach loungers and umbrellas are available for hire, as are changing facilities with showers, toilets, and lockers. Food and beverage outlets, souvenir stores, a children's adventure park and playground, tennis courts and a basketball court, and beach security officers are among the attractions at Folkestone Beach in Barbados. Folkestone Beach's sea is clear, tranquil, warm, and ideal for swimming. It's a great place to go snorkeling because the inshore reefs are home to a variety of tropical fish and other marine life, such as sea anemones, sea lilies, corals, and sponges. Snorkeling equipment may be rented, and glass-bottom boats can take you further out, allowing you to witness the incredible richness of sea life without getting wet. Especially, the Stavronikita, a purposefully sunken ship in 36.5 meters of the sea, is only 800 meters offshore and teems with marine life.

Closer to shore, you'll see reefs in shallow water teeming with colorful fish. Snorkeling or paddling a stand-up paddleboard through the pristine waters are both options. A museum showcasing local marine life through various displays, as well as a big aquarium, is also located here.
