G-Dragon
One of the kings of K-pop is Kwon Ji Yong, better known by his stage name G-Dragon, leader of the high acclaimed boy group BIGBANG under YG Entertainment. He is a rapper, entrepreneur, and fashion icon in addition to being a singer and songwriter.
Interestingly, G-Dragon trained at YG Entertainment for more than six years before making his debut as a member of the hip-hop K-pop group Big Bang (when he was just 12). G-Dragon produces music for solo artists as well as Big Bang. He made his solo debut with the album "Heartbreaker" in 2009. He is not only one of South Korea's greatest performers and most well-known K-pop idols (with an impressive list of accomplishments), but he has also had a significant impact on the youth culture, music production strategies, and fashion in the country.
