Garth Greenan Gallery

The Garth Greenan Gallery is dedicated to organizing significant exhibitions and upholding a high level of connoisseurship and honesty. It promotes the work of well-known artists, many of whom came to prominence in the 1960s and 1970s, whose work needs more attention. The gallery challenges and promotes revision of the dominant narrative of contemporary art history by re-presenting and re-contextualizing the artists' work.

In 2013, Gary Greenan, the former co-owner and director of Gary Snyder Gallery, acquired Snyder and became the gallery's sole owner. Greenan is passionate about supporting creatives that have been marginalized or otherwise ignored by the art community.

26 artists from various generations are now represented by Garth Greenan Gallery. Paintings, sculptures, drawings, and prints are just a few of the media that the gallery deals with. The gallery holds seven shows each year, several of which have publications to go along with them.
