Gasthof Winkler
Although home-slaughtering may not sound attractive, it is the pride of the Winkler family's guest house's restaurant, Zum Goldenen Ochsen. The lush nature, Southern German warmth, and substantial leberknödelsuppe make the inn in the Franconian countryside worth a visit (liver dumpling soup).
Gasthof Winkler has teamed up with farmer families, direct marketers, traditional processors, and inns. They ensure the production and consumption of exceptionally fresh and high-grade regional products, as well as excellent quality and maximum enjoyment. They are aware of food production conditions and, as a result, are confident in their ability to provide you with the greatest "means of subsistence." The "regional buffet" incorporates environmental considerations such as landscape preservation, species-appropriate animal husbandry, and short transportation routes.
One of the regional buffet producers listed below provides at least two-thirds of the components for dishes with the regional buffet signet. With these ingredients, the chefs create delectable dishes. As a quality seal, these are marked on the menus with their own logo.
The regional buffet's claim is mixed with their inn's legacy of striving for high-quality cuisine for decades.
