Geology and Engineering Geology

"Home is the earth." The evolution of human civilisation as you know it is inextricably linked to how you have utilized and continue to utilize the planet. This course will present the fundamentals of geology as well as engineering geology ways to assist people in better protecting and utilizing the planet.

This geology course is divided into two parts: fundamental geology and engineering geology. The basic geology division covers the following topics: the genesis and history of the earth; common rocks and minerals; internal and external dynamic geological processes; geological ages; geological structures; geological maps; and other fundamental geological information. The engineering geology section includes groundwater, rock, and soil engineering geological nature, slope stability analysis, surrounding rock of underground caverns and rock foundations, geological analysis of reservoir projects, and some field investigation methods and techniques, among other things.

Geology and geological engineering are two of the most fundamental sciences that support engineering specializations, including hydraulic engineering, geotechnical engineering, and geological engineering. Engineers will find this course very interesting and informative, but anybody interested in learning how to protect and continue to transform our world is encouraged to attend!
