Getting Started with Essay Writing
This Getting Started with Essay Writing is the second course in the Specialization in Academic English: Writing. You went over sentence types and punctuation in the previous course. You will apply what you have learned in this course to improve your writing. This course will teach you everything you need to know about academic essay writing, including how to write three different sorts of essays: compare/contrast, cause/effect, and argument. You must pass all four quizzes and all three writing projects to pass this course. You can go on to the next task once you have completed the previous one.
This course is for English learners who can write in English at an intermediate level. This course's sample essays are written at that level. The principles addressed in the classes, on the other hand, are applicable to writers of all levels. If you are at a lower level, try your hardest. Feel free to produce more detailed and intricate articles than the ones in the samples if you are a more advanced writer. Just make sure you stick to the established structures.
