Gig Car Share is a car-sharing business offered by AAA that offers hybrid and electric vehicles. Users do not required to return the automobile to the same location where they found it because services are free-floating, but they must adhere to the service's authorized HomeZone.

If you are qualified and want to apply, all you have to do is download the iOS or Android app, enter your information, scan a payment card and driver's license, and take a picture. Once accepted, you will be able to use your mobile phone to search, reserve, and unlock cars (through Bluetooth). If you don't have a smartphone or have bad mobile phone service, you'll also get a Gig Card to lock and unlock the car.

To indicate availability, the automobile service employs a colored windshield light. A green light shows that a vehicle is available, while an orange light indicates that the vehicle has been reserved. Drivers can go anywhere in the United States, but they must begin and conclude their journey in the assigned HomeZone. Members are limited to driving a total of 250 miles each trip. Following that, there is a $0.45 per mile plus tax fee.
