Gjirokastër Folk Festival

The Gjirokastër Folk festival is not as common as the others because it is only held every four years, in September. Still, it's a big deal, especially since it's the first time it's happened since 1968. The Gjirokaster Folk Festival features music, dances, performances, and art from all over the Balkan region, as well as many international performers.
