Globant
In addition to its headquarters in Argentina, Colombia, and Uruguay, Globant also has offices in the United Kingdom, Brazil, the United States of America, Canada, Peru, India, Mexico, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Spain, France, Germany, Romania, and Belarus, where it focuses on IT and software development. Martn Migoya, Guibert Englebienne, Martn Umaran, and Néstor Nocetti founded the group in 2003. Although it began in Argentina's capital of Buenos Aires, the company's primary focus is on customers in the United States and the United Kingdom from its current base in Luxembourg.
In an effort to expand its footprint in Latin America, Globant has purchased Belatrix Software, a market leader in agile product development. Globant will buy BiLive (Argentina) in the new year of 2020. GroupoAssa (Argentina), Xappia (Italy), Giant Monkey Robot (GMR), and BlueCap (Spain) were all bought by Globant later that year.
In March of 2021, Globant bought the British company CloudShift, and in May of that year, it bought the European consulting firm Habitant. A few months later, in October, it launched a development facility in San Jose, Costa Rica, after having bought a Spanish company called Walmeric in July.
