Designer Goen Jong created the fashion company GOEN.J in 2012 after returning from seven years in France, where she studied fashion design at the famed Studio Berçot in Paris. She is a master of combining architectural silhouettes with refined romanticism and establishing a balance between delicate and substantial patterns as a lingerie designer.

GOEN.J clothing was available in retail locations including Harvey Nichols Hong Kong shortly after its inception. In 2014, the label's products were featured in all of Barneys New York's locations and the Riccardo Grassi Showroom in Milan, giving it a foothold in both the United States and Europe. Since then, businesses such as Net-a-Porter, Bergdorf Goodman, Selfridges, and so on have hosted it.
