MINJUKIM

In 2015, two years after winning the H&M Design Award as a student, Kim Min-ju launched her own brand. She created history in 2020 when she won Next in Fashion, Netflix's first real fashion show. Her Frida Kahlo-inspired 10-piece collection earned her $250,000 in prize money and the opportunity to launch the MINJUKIM brand at Net-a-Porter. La Casa Azul is the name of her Spring - Summer 2020 collection, which is inspired by Kahlo's home.

The dresses of MINJUKIM have been described as having an underlying aspect of joy, with powerful silhouettes combined with feminine elements such as ruffles. Traditional Asian styles, such as the Mandarin collar, have been included in the designs.
