Golshany Castle
Holszany Castle is the ruined house of the Sapieha rich person's own circle of relatives in Halshany, Hrodna Voblast, Belarus. It was once the seat of one of all the most important land estates in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. It is one of the most beautiful historical sites in Belarus.
The modern shape was constructed approximately 1610 by Paweł Stefan Sapieha to replace an older castle of the Holszanski princely circle of relatives, of whom Sapiehas have been descendants and heirs.
The fort was once defined as a mysterious location famed in legends. Nowadays not anything however ruins nonetheless stand, at the same time as withinside the beyond it became a costly house of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania's Deputy Chancellor Pawel Stefan Sapieha, a cousin of Lew Sapieha. They say a mysterious underground passage related the castle to a monastery nearby. Legends inform the tale of the Black Monk and the White Lady, whose ghosts nonetheless roam the land.
