Saint Nicholas Monastery
Saint Nicholas Monastery is one of the few homes of the Belarusian baroque that survived to the present day. On its territory, there are Saint Nicholas Cathedral (at the listing of maximum precious baroque homes in Europe), the Cathedral of the Reverend Onuphrius the Great, a bell chamber, and dwelling premises. The pleasure of Saint Nicholas Cathedral is the beautiful four-layer icon-stand made by Mogilev in the seventeenth century, amongst whom was Shklov-born Klim Mikhailov, considered for his paintings on the Kolomenskoye royal estate, the chambers of the Kremlin. An icon stand was only discovered at Smolensk Cathedral of the Novodevichy Convent in Moscow.
Saint Nicholas Monastery was frequently visited by Russian Emperor Nicholas II. False Dmitry II was a member of the monastery's novices.
