Google Maps and Waze
Google Maps almost controls the navigation app scene, and it is still one of the greatest Android applications ever. It receives regular, nearly weekly updates that appear to further add to its already extensive list of features. Aside from the fundamentals, Google Maps provides access to points of interest, traffic statistics, directions to destinations such as rest stops or petrol stations, and the ability to download maps for offline usage.
When you combine it with the Waze experience, which contains a slew of its own features, you won't need another navigation app. Ever. Because Google also owns and operates Waze, we've grouped them together. Both navigation applications function on Android Auto and, in most cases, outperform automotive navigation systems.
