Gothenburg
Gothenburg, on Sweden's west coast, is a green city with a variety of parks of various sizes. Many of the parks, such as Kungsparken, which circles the canal that encircles the city center, date from the nineteenth century. If amusement parks are more your thing, travel to Liseberg, which boasts more rides than any other amusement park in Scandinavia. Gothenburg, Scandinavia's largest port city, hosts the region's largest film festival as well as a number of music festivals throughout the year.
You can even spend the late afternoon in the natural wonderland of Slottsskogen Park. You cannot leave Gothenburg without sampling the city's seafood offerings, as it is one of the country's most important fishing ports. When it comes to the weather, Gothenburg makes the most of all four seasons. Summers are often warm and comfortable, with temperatures hovering around 21°C.
