Gratitude Market ranks 2nd in the list of best gourmet Mini-marts In L.A. This downtown Culver City art gallery converted to a specialty market and weekly food pantry in 2020, and it hasn't looked back since. While Gratitude Market still sells artisan jewelry, greeting cards, and ceramics, the shop now also sells a small but thoughtful selection of locally made fresh foods and shelf-stable pantry goods, ranging from Clark Street bakery favorites to ethically sourced spice blends, olive oils, and grains from around the world. A curated bottle selection from queer, BIPOC, and female winemakers near the back of the market completes the ideal Westside gourmet mini-mart for housewarming gifts and other upscale food needs.

A portion of each sale goes to shop owner Lisa Schultz's non-profit, the Peace Project, which helps combat food insecurity among Culver City families. The Peace Project began in 2010 with an International Call for Artists and traveling exhibit on TheWhole9.com. Since then, nearly 4,000 artists from 70 countries have shared their work and joined hearts with us to become a global force for good that demonstrates that "Art Changes People." People Influence the World." The Whole 9 Gallery's online shop and brick-and-mortar space in Culver City, CA, cover 100 percent of The Peace Project's operating expenses, leaving 100 percent of donations to be directed to our work.
