Gray Fullbuster is a Shaping Mage specializing in the use of the Ice element, as well as a "Demon Slayer" using Ice Demon Slayer Magic. Gray came from a village in the North in the Kingdom of Fiore, but the entire village was destroyed by the Demon Deliora. Gray's parents were also killed in the disaster. On the advice of Ur, a powerful Ice Mage who is also Gray's master, he went to Fairy Tail and asked Buchou Makarov how to reverse the effects of Ice Wind.
Gray Fullbuster has a rather carefree and laid-back personality, but can also become very serious when needed. He and Natsu have a friendly adversarial relationship, although they often fight or argue anywhere, they are actually quite interested in each other. Gray received the Demon Slayer Magic from his father, Silver Fullbuster, upon his death, making him a "Demon Slayer".
