Souma Yukihira

Souma Yukihira is the child of Yukihira Joichiro and an unnamed wife. At the age of 3, Soma started cooking in his family's casual restaurant. Since childhood, Soma has had an interest and passion for cooking, which further motivates him to become a great chef like his father. While working at Yukihira's, Souma Yukihira created a new dish, which his father agreed to include on the menu.

In his senior year of Middle School, about to enter his first year of High School, Souma's father sent him to Tootsuki Culinary and Tea Academy to show off his talents. He told Soma that it was a Super Elite Institute and that only 10% of the students were able to graduate. He challenged Soma "If you can't survive in that school, don't try to surpass me". That challenge gave Soma the energy and determination to graduate from that academy.

Souma Yukihira is an energetic and enthusiastic young man. He has a burning dream that is to surpass his father and become the chef of the family restaurant. Soma's inspiration for cooking comes from the close bond between his father and him. Souma Yukihira is always very confident in her cooking skills and is always looking, learning, and challenging other chefs to improve her skills. In difficult situations, he always kept a cool head and quickly handled the situation.
