Greatorex Textile Industries is a family-owned and controlled company that began in 1946 as a corsetry and lingerie fabric maker and eventually expanded to include sports medicine goods and soft orthotics.

We began producing food-grade elastic threads and eventually food-grade elastic nets for the food sector in the late 1980s. The GTI group of companies now has four separate manufacturing plants in Australia, all of which are vertically integrated to allow them to operate independently while seamlessly supporting one another in terms of purchasing power, raw material management, technical advice, and distribution considerations. This allows us to stay competitive both domestically and internationally.

GTI extended its activities in early 2007 by obtaining GTI QLD (founded in 1992 as IKP) to augment our food-grade elastic netting capabilities. Our professional machinists, who make a wide range of soft orthotics for the medical, athletic, and leisure industries, continue to design and manufacture our soft orthotics. GTI's tubular compression bandages are the market leader, are 100% Australian-owned, and are guaranteed to be LATEX-FREE. The GTI group of companies is able to produce new goods at reasonable pricing that satisfy the high demands of our loyal customers thanks to our devoted research and development staff.
