Gurupurab- Anniversary of A Guru’s Birth or Death

Gurupurab, which commemorates the birth anniversaries of the Sikh Gurus, is a significant holiday for the Sikh community. Gurdwaras are ablaze with the light of love and compassion. Kadha prashad, a delicious and sacred food, is served in langars, and many even let off fireworks in the middle of the night to commemorate Gurgupurab.
