Maha Shivratri- The Great Night of Shiva

Shivratri, which translates to "Shiva's Night," is a Hindu festival honoring Lord Shiva, the destroyer. During this holiday, people go to Shiva temples to worship and sing auspicious chants. Some others even fast for the full day to express their love for the Almighty. Devotees come to Shiva temples to bask in the brilliant atmosphere of the Lord Shiva during Maha Shivratri.
