Haikou 海南省海口市
Haikou, the capital of Hainan Island, is a sparkling mix of technology, history, and coconut trees on the island's northern shore. Haikou, whose name translates to "mouth of the sea," served as a port during the Sino-Japanese War and for the old Qiongshan city. Haikou, which is also known as a "garden city," is renowned for having cleaner air than most places in China. It also advertises itself as "China's Hawaii" and seeks to increase its appeal to tourists.
Numerous newly constructed tourist destinations and attractions can be found in Haikou along with beautiful historical landmarks and natural landscapes. The port city's vibrant past will always be a prominent aspect that should be preserved, despite ongoing restorations. Its diverse culture is a fusion of traditional, colonial, and contemporary China. There are many things to do in the coconut city, even if beach activities are at the top of every Haikou vacationer's itinerary.
