Hari Raya Puasa translates as "The day of Celebration." During this Singapore festival, people visit mosques and then graveyards (to greet any family that passed away). They celebrate by dressing up and visiting their families, as well as reciting takbir in mosques in the evening. Oil lamps are also turned on. The festival represents an individual's purification and renewal.
