The first place on the list of the most expensive bridges ever built is Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. After 9 years of construction, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, the world’s longest sea-crossing, has opened to traffic.
The 55km crossing includes 3 cable-stayed bridges and hyperlink roads withinside the 3 towns, decreasing the touring time between Hong Kong and Macau/Zhuhai from an hour’s ferry journey to a 40-minute automobile journey.
