The Great Belt Bridge
The next place on the list of the most expensive bridges ever built is the Great Belt Bridge (or Great Belt Fixed Link). It is a visitor connection between Danish islands Zealand and Funen. Great Belt Fixed Link is fabricated from a suspension bridge and railroad tunnel that connects Zealand with the island Sprogø and a container girder bridge that connects Sprogø with Funen. The Great Belt Fixed Link is one of the world’s biggest bridges, and riding throughout the Great Belt offers you a feel of the large attempt that went into its creation. The Eastern Bridge (a suspension bridge), the Western Bridge (a low-degree bridge), and the Eastern Tunnel for the railway are all a part of the complex (an undersea bored tunnel).
