Indus International School
Indus International School, Bangalore (IISB) established in 2003 on a vast campus in Sarjapur, Bangalore, India, . The school is proud to follow the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum and has earned the title of the best international school in India for eight consecutive years (2012–2019) in a survey by C-Fore/Education World. The school received crucial support in its founding year from Indian-American technology investor Kumar Malavalli. Expanding its reach, the Indus Trust established another branch, Indus International School, Pune, in August 2008 at Mulshi, Pune. Indus International School adopts English as the primary language of instruction and aligns its curriculum with the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework. The school covers the IB Primary Years Program for students in Prep to Grade 5, the Middle School Program for those in Grade 6 to Grade 10, and the IB Diploma Program for students in Grades 11 and 12. Formerly offering the International General Certificate of Secondary Education for Grades 9 and 10, the school transitioned to the Middle Years Program in 2019.
The IB diploma class of 2015-16 included over 70 students studying subjects such as English B, Spanish, and math studies. Noteworthy facilities include an Olympic-sized swimming pool and excellent boarding amenities. The school is also recognized for its distinctive equestrian program, integrating horses into its educational environment.
