Institut Montana Zugerberg
Founded in 1926 in the belief that education can help make the world a better place, Institut Montana Zugerberg maintains this mission in its heart to bring the best education experiences for all teachers and students. It offers an abundance of learning and career-related opportunities and much more.
The school has a small number of students because it considers its environment as a small family-like community. With around 380 students who enjoy a multicultural environment of more than 55 nationalities, the school offers Swiss and international academic programs and a student-to-staff ratio of 4:1. Thus, students can not only learn values academically but also have the chance to interact with their peers and confess their genuine opinion to the teacher.
Moreover, as more than 90% of the students have a first language other than English, courses in a variety of languages are made available to ensure personal and educational development. More than half of students are boarding students. Therfore, they become very close with Institut Montana Zugerberg and are never afraid to show their own identity. Besides, individual support and college counseling are also supported to give round-the-clock support in a family-like atmosphere.
Students also take the chance to join extracurricular activities. The balanced and diverse activities program revolves around sports, creativity, and culture. Extracurricular offers involve on and off-campus activities, with travel opportunities. The Student Council, the Entrepreneurship and MUN program, and various other programs empower the students to actively contribute to school life and gain important experiences for their later life.
