International Montessori Schools
International Montessori Schools creates a fantastic place for children and students aged 1 to 18 to learn and grow. The school is beautiful and designed to help kids develop in every way. They use a unique method called Montessori, along with the International Baccalaureate for older students, to prepare young people for life.
At International Montessori, there's a mix of languages and cultures. You can find kids from twelve or more different countries in each class. The teachers also come from around the world, so everyone speaks more than one language. This helps kids learn about different cultures and understand each other better.
International Montessori offers a full-time bilingual English-French environment for the little ones in the Toddler Community, Children's Houses, and Primary sections. Each group has two teachers: one speaks English, and the other speaks French. The goal is to help kids trust themselves, making them feel capable.
As kids move to the Primary sections, their language skills grow, and they become bilingual in speaking and writing. They learn through communication, reading, acting in plays, writing stories, spelling, and using special language tools like Grammar Boxes and Logical Sentence Analysis and construction. When students finish the Montessori Primary and go on to the International Baccalaureate Programme, they're well on their way to being truly multilingual. Besides English and French, students can even choose to learn Dutch, German, and Spanish. It's all about giving them many language options for their future.
