International School of Chonburi
The International School of Chonburi, which was founded over a decade ago, provides a well-rounded education as well as a caring environment for children in Pattaya. They inspire youngsters to embrace obstacles and celebrate accomplishment by encouraging active and creative learning.
The Reggio Emilia philosophy inspires the education program. This student-centered and constructivist self-guided program uses self-directed, experiential learning in relationship-driven situations. The curriculum is comprehensive, inclusive, and balanced. Children can participate in a variety of cross-curricular activities, including art, music, and sports.
Each child's uniqueness is recognized, and developmentally appropriate activities are provided to best support learning. Teachers can build an appropriate curriculum that is driven by children's interests and covers learning in the four domains of development: cognitive, language, social/emotional, and physical, through observation and documentation.
ISC teachers provide a strong emphasis on maximizing each child's individual potential. They instill in children a love of learning that will last a lifetime, as well as a sense of fairness, caring, and friendship. The institution fosters an atmosphere that encourages open conversation.
Every year in July, the summer school program runs from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. It is available to all students. Summer school activities are themed and include arts and crafts, sports, theater, music, and imaginative play.
International School of Chonburi provides round-trip transportation from Chonburi, Sri Racha, Laem Chabang, Pattaya, Jomtien, and Rayong. The vans are outfitted with a GPS tracking system, car seats for each child in the early years, and seat belts for pupils when they grow out of the car seats. Monitors and drivers are full-time school staff who are familiar with the pupils.
