International School of Los Angeles
Founded in 1978 by visionaries from diverse cultural backgrounds, the International School of Los Angeles was established to meet the growing need for a school preparing children for life in an increasingly international environment.

The school offers a French immersion track from preschool through 12th grade, preparing students for the French Baccalauréat, and a separate international high school track for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in grades 11–12. Both programs aim to produce bilingual critical thinkers who are open-minded, confident, and caring global citizens.
Upon reaching 8th grade, students choose either the “pre-French baccalauréat” or the “international” section for 9th and 10th grade. This choice involves following a composite of French and American coursework or an international curriculum unique to the school, tailored to prepare students for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
